Short description of your art.

I design clothing from children’s walking out ceremony outfits to women’s tops or dresses. I do some knitting for scarfs. And recently getting into sewing for moccasins.

Where did you learn your art?

Imagination and observing others work, also YouTube tutorials and some sewing working shops in the community.

Where do you find inspiration for your work?

Inspired by my culture and the materials that have an indigenous designs on the material which I like to make into wearable art.

What other art forms do you practice?

Painting, writing, crafts, revamping old furniture, knitting and quite open to learning on hands type of work.

Do you sell your work? If so, how?

Yes I’ve sold dresses in the past by personal orders.

Has your art work ever been mentioned in any media?

Yes in the Nation about 7 years ago and one of my photos of my work is displayed at one of the hotels in Montreal. Also in some pamphlets for certain organizations promoting cultural activities and events.
