Short description of your art.

Tiana Delaney is a Cree singer-songwriter from Moose Cree First Nation and a member of Wemindji First Nation. Her music blends emotional storytelling with indie pop influences, exploring heartbreak, overthinking, relationships, and self-reflection through vulnerable lyrics and cinematic melodies. Inspired by personal experiences and her roots, she creates music that connects deeply with listeners navigating love, loss, and growing up.

Where do you find inspiration for your work?

I find inspiration through personal experiences, relationships, heartbreak, overthinking, and emotions that are difficult to express out loud. A lot of my songwriting comes from reflecting on moments in my life and turning those feelings into stories people can relate to. I’m also inspired by my roots, my community, and artists who use vulnerability and storytelling to connect with listeners.

Have you ever received any awards or special recognition?

I have performed at community events, festivals, graduations, hockey games, and cultural gatherings throughout Northern Ontario. I have also opened for A Tribe Called Red and performed alongside Canadian country artist Carroll Baker. My music has continued to grow through online platforms and community support.
