Having returned a while back, CNACA was able to bring home some achievements in hand. We were able to premiere the first Cree Designs at Northern Lights Arts Festival 2020. Congratulations to Judy Cooper for being the first to take that step and reach a whole new audience in Ottawa! The event took place February 6th – 8th, 2020 at the Shaw Centre, the event was focused on Inuit arts and culture and included Eeyou Istchee. While there, CNACA was also shown on CTV Morning Live talking about your crafts. Some of the mentioned or shown items belonged to Weena Bosum, Samuel Mianscum, Angela Moar. Congratulations to those unmentioned as well as you’ve reached a provincial level of exposure!
