“THE FUTURE IS EEYOU MADE.”
This year theme reflects CNACA’s forward-looking vision, and the important strides made over the past year. The organization has focused on strengthening local arts committees, developing tools to expand membership, and supporting a wide range of community-led projects and initiatives. These efforts reflect our theme and the direction we are pursuing increasing support for existing members while encouraging more Cree artists and artisans to join us in expanding our presence both within Eeyou Istchee and beyond. By empowering today’s artists and artisans, we ensure that our traditions, stories, and artistic expressions continue to live on through the hands and hearts of the next generation.
We are proud to present our members and their artistic practices at this year’s Annual Members Assembly (AMA), and we remain committed to supporting them in their creative journeys, while promoting artists through all platforms.
On behalf of the staff and Board of Directors of CNACA, we look forward to meeting you at the 19th Annual Members Assembly. It is with honor, respect, and gratitude, CNACA extends this invitation to all members and supporters. We look forward to connecting with the CNACA community and working together to forge new directions for the association in shaping the next chapter of Cree artistic and cultural expression.
