Rock your Gloves ! CNACA announces a call for teachers, caregivers and students to attend an elder taught workshop in Ouje-Bougoumou

Ouje-Bougoumou, Qc— February 26, 2020 – The Cree Native Arts & Crafts Association (CNACA), Aanischaaukamikw Cree Cultural Institute (ACCI), and Cree Nation Government Department of Justice and Correctional Services (CNG DJCS) are searching for students, caregivers, and teachers to attend an elder taught workshop.

Rock Your Gloves in Ouje-Bougoumou, QC

March 9-12, 2020, 4pm -8pm

The workshop will be held in the Aanischaaukamikw Cree Cultural Institute with a limit of 20 people in attendance. Supper and materials will be provided for all four (4) days as well. Students eleven (11) years or older are free to attend so long as they have a guardian with them, teachers are highly encouraged to join too. If a person over 17 would like to join, they must be a member of CNACA and can apply through the website or contact CNACA for more information.

There is no set deadline however it is a first come, first serve workshop and must sign up with Special Projects & Events Coordinator Adrienne Shecapio.
