Ouje-Bougoumou, Qc; June 9, 2020 – The Cree Native Arts & Crafts Association (CNACA) would like to announce the following in response to COVID-19; As of June 9, 2020, the Cree Nation Arts and Crafts Assosciation will continue operations online but our offices will remain closed to the public.
As we move into deconfinement, we encourage informing yourself on the ongoing pandemic and staying aware.We’d also advise you to check the World Health Organization, Quebec Government, Public Health Association of Canada, Cree Nation Government, Cree Health Board, and your local Band Office for further updates on COVID-19.
Taken from the Cree Health Board and World Health Organization website, here are some of the recommended precautionary measures
• Wash your hands throughly with an alcohol based hand rub or with soap and water.
• Maintain social distancing (Keep a distance up to 6 feet with anyone who is coughing or sneezing).
• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth.
• Practice respiratory hygiene (cover the mouth or sneeze into a bent elbow to muffle the sneeze and dispose of used tissues immediately).
• If you have a fever, cough and/or difficulty breathing, seek medical care immediately.
• Limit all non essential travel, 14 day self isolation after returning from a high risk region.
