Brief Bio

Chris has been practicing music for the past 20 years and has studied the “Music industry Arts” program at Algonquian College and has successfully coproducer an album with his band Cree Rising. Chris became involved in the music scene as a teenager with the recording of the Youth Compilation album in 1996. The Fort George Rockers from his hometown of Chisasibi provided him inspiration and helped him achieve his goals within the music industry.

Short description of your art
I am a music artist, been playing music for the past 20 years and I have studied music industry arts program at Algonquin College and I have co produced and album with my band CreeRising, and I was introduced to the music business when I was 19 when the Cree youth complaition album was recorded in 1996.

Where did you learn your art? 
I learned from my dad, and friends, and I went to school for Music Industry Arts program at Algonquin College.

Where do you find inspiration for your work?
Watching local musician like Fort George Rockers play in my Hometown.

I recently finished Music industry arts program at Algonquin College.
