Ouje-Bougoumou, Qc. Jan 12, 2021 – We regret to inform you that the Cree Native Arts and Crafts Association’s Annual Members Meeting & Conference, which was scheduled for January 26-27, 2021, has been cancelled and will be rescheduled to a later date because of the coronavirus outbreak.
Our nation has been hit hard with the second wave of the COVID-19, and the recent outbreak in the southern communities have taken a mental and physical toll on all of us. Our Executive Committee has stressed that the health and safety of our employees, members, and nation must be a priority. We must all do our part in protecting our nation.
The uncertainty brought about by the pandemic has forced our staff to adapt to changing circumstances. As the preparations were well underway to host the Annual Members Meeting & Conference, we must now, once again, accommodate to a more fitting time to reconvene and celebrate with each other and honor the hard work of our members and artistic community.
Once the second wave of the pandemic and restrictions ease, we will announce new dates for the CNACA’s Annual Members Meeting and conference. We thank you in advance for your understanding in these unprecedented times.
We urge you to stay safe and take all precautionary measure to stop the spread of the virus.
Stay Safe and God be with you all!
